This lovely, all-white variant of the double campernelle is an old heirloom favorite, which was used in gardens since 1601 in Europe and brought to America very early. It is thought to be a naturally occurring hybrid. A white, “gardenia-flowered Narcissus” was listed in garden dictionaries as N. poeticus recurvus plenus by the 19th century. This form bears one or more flowers to a stem, which are very showy in the garden.
5 bulbs per bag.
