'Charles de Mills', also called 'Bizarre Triomphant,' is an ancient Gallica variety that originated in Central Europe. It is considered one of the best, especially when grown in rich soil. The Gallicas are an important group of roses that, although not repeat blooming, had considerable influence on the evolution of modern roses.
