Doe Hill Pepper Seeds (Capsicum annuum)

This miniature, golden-yellow pepper is a pre-1900 family heirloom from the Doe Hill area of Highland County, Virginia. The fruits are small and thick-walled, with a sweet, mild flavor when ripe. Doe Hill Pepper matures early and continues producing until the end of summer. The charming peppers resemble miniature pumpkins or persimmons.

Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost date, transplant to 3" pots on they have several true leaves, then transplant outdoors 2-4 weeks after the last frost. Pepper plants prefer warm soils for germination and growth.
