Birds & Bees Pollinator Pack (Itea virginica - Aronia arbutifolia - Crataegus phaenopyrum)
Species offered in this pollinator 3 pack have been selected for their importance as native plants to both pollinator and wildlife food sources and habitat, as well as their adaptability to different landscape soil or light conditions. Each is a flowering species producing a spring bloom as early as April (Aronia arbutifolia) and persisting into early summer (Itea virginica), as well as producing a fruit or seed consumed by wildlife into the winter. Native birds, bees, hummingbirds, butterflies and small mammals all benefit year round from planting these three beautiful and versatile landscape specimens.

Bare root planting tips:
~ If you can't plant immediately, store your plant in a cool location and keep the roots moist or pot in a container with a nursery potting mix from your local garden center.
~ Before planting, let the roots soak for several hours as you prepare the site. You'll want to dig a large enough hole so the root mass can spread out and the plant is at the same soil level as when it was growing in the nursery.
~ Once planted, water it in well and wait a month before fertilizing. Mulching will help to maintain moisture and raise soil temperatures for faster growth.
